*Between September 1 and October 29, 2022 – a 50% penalty will be incurred.

*Between October 30 and up to day of cruising, any cancellations or “no-shows” – 100% penalty.

Note that if you elect to take a roommate and he/she cancels after our cut-off date, we will do everything to find a new match. However, if no match is found, the difference in cost for a single cabin/room is the responsibility of the guest who cancels. No refund will be given to the guest who cancels, regardless of cruise or tour company policy as stated above. Singles Travel International is not responsible for costs related to cancellations after our cut off date.

Although Singles Travel International is committed to keep our members informed regarding the current status of our partner-vendor policies, you are ultimately responsible for your health and well-being when making travel decisions. We  strongly encourage our members  to be vaccinated (although not required on this cruise) and to check the latest travel recommendations by the US State Department, CDC, World Health Organization (WHO) and air carriers to review the latest information for travel risks so they make informed decision about their travel safety.

For those who make the personal decision to travel and in order to assure a mutually respectful environment surrounding Covid-19 safety, each member will need to sign a Fit & Willing to Travel Commitment. Please familiarize yourself with our other new protocols by CLICKING HERE.

Singles Travel International includes a fun-filled night in a Miami hotel (Dec. 29-30), which allows our members to get a head start on socializing and ensures that you won’t miss the boat!

In order to participate in the Singles-Only Meet-and-Greet and optional dinner on December 29, try to arrive at the Miami Airport (MIA) by 4:00 pm, and transfer to our hotel.

All meet-up details will be provided in your Final Vacation Details & Meetup Information on the “YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS” tab on the left navigation bar on the trip website 21 days prior to departure.

Singles Travel International is a vacation event company that plans singles events and markets our events at our expense to create a “singles only” experience. We do not allow guests to join the group unless the reservation has been made by Singles Travel International. Our policy is firm for tours and cruises, as well as pre and post trip hotel stays. Members and friends that “show up” will not be allowed to participate.

Miami is serviced by the Miami International Airport (MIA). From there, you have a couple of transfer options:

Taxis are available for all transportation and may be acquired outside the baggage claim area. Another option is the Miami Airport Shuttle. Rates and schedules are listed on their site, click here to learn more.

Also, once you make a reservation with Singles Travel International, you are invited to post messages on the trip chat, which is great for coordinating taxi/shuttle shares!

In order to accommodate singles from all over the world, our tours and cruises are priced as land/cruise only. Therefore, airfare is additional. Singles Travel International is a licensed ticketing agency and oftentimes has low negotiated fares.

As part of Singles Travel International’s included 1 night pre cruise package in Miami, your Concierge will host a Singles-Only Meet-and-Greet at our hotel and optional dinner on December 29, 2022. So please try to arrive at the Miami Airport (MIA) by 4:00 pm and transfer to our hotel so you can participate in the fun.

Please schedule your flight to depart from the Miami Airport (MIA) no earlier than 11:00 am, on January 8, 2023.

You are responsible for beverages (except when included in accommodations events), shore tours, casino gambling, shopping and gratuities to ship and Singles Travel International Concierge ($15 per day).

Cabin incidentals such as laundry, phone calls and internet access are also at an additional cost and all items will appear on your final billing statement at the end of the cruise. You may also be charged a delivery fee, imposed by our vendors for special delivery of documents including international and expedited documents.

Due to the pandemic, all of our previous shore excursion providers have gone out of business.  Until we are able to find a viable solution, we invite you to connect with your fellow cruisers on the “Member Chat” for this cruise on our trip page.

Click HERE to view Royal Caribbean’s excursions for the Grandeur, search and shop, then share with other members before making your final decisions.

Your Singles Travel International Concierge will also offer Independent Meetups early morning in each port so that members without an excursion may connect and spend time exploring together.

Also, here’s the link to RCI’s beverage package options: CLICK HERE.

Absolutely. Our site is so popular that we guarantee to find a roommate for you or the single cabin is on us! In order to take advantage of our offer, you must be paid in full by August 31, 2022. Guarantees are based on the lowest priced category. Upgrades are charged the full single rate less the lowest share credit if no equal match is found.

Of course, single cabins are available at an additional rate assessed by Royal Caribbean. Even after the cut-off date, we get so many calls that finding a roommate is easy. So please let us know if you are interested when making your booking.

Please contact your preferred carrier directly to make your reservation. If Singles Travel International issues a promotional economy fare, granting of frequent flyer credit is entirely at the airline’s discretion. If the flights are eligible, to ensure you earn frequent flyer credit from the airline, give your frequent flyer account number when you check in for your flights. In addition, save your boarding passes and the passenger receipt from your airline ticket. You may need to submit these to the airline (not to Singles Travel International) to claim any credit allowed.

Of course not. You will be pleased to find out that nearly 90% of our guests on every cruise sign up and have never met anyone before joining the group. In 28 years, we have perfected the singles cruise experience. It is paramount that our guests meet each other right away and have opportunities to mingle every day.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel, our Singles Travel International Concierge is waiting to meet you at our Hospitality Desk or Welcome Event.

Our “Baby Boomer” vacations cater to singles in their 50s and 60s but you will often meet singles ranging anywhere from 45-75. We generally have a ratio of 60/40, women to men. As a travel club, matchmaking is not our focus. Ages listed on our page are not restricted. They are simply used as a guideline. We offer an opportunity for single travelers to see the world in the company of other singles and do not guarantee ratios or ages.

We recommend that you meet the members of the Singles Travel International Community online where you may view and interact with members via “Who’s Going” on every trip page. This is the best way to find out exactly who will be on your vacation.

We also invite you to join our 50+ singles community when you are not on the road, before and after your vacation @ www.SingleLife.Today. Membership and most events are free and when you upgrade to Premium, you’ll have access to our live, virtual tours to exotic locations plus save $1000s of dollars on Your Own Space™.

Yes! Singles Travel International is the only singles vacation company that features a travel community where members may send messages to one another at any time. Once you make a reservation, you are invited to post messages on the trip chat, which is great for finding out more about your fellow travel companions, coordinating taxi shares, setting up tours and more. Your trip chat is accessible from the trip page. Ask your Singles Travel International Reservation Guide for assistance.

Our program for 50+ singles also includes live online events and virtual tours plus a virtual Meet & Greet with your travel companions before you depart. View and get reminders for each event on our community page, www.SingleLife.Today.  Be sure to sign up today so that you don’t miss out on anything!

All meals are served either buffet style in a restaurant located on an open deck such as the pool deck or full service in the main dining room at set times referred to as early and late (or first and second) seating. Singles Travel International hosts the Breakfast Club each morning in one of the 2 locations, which are determined via your Singles Travel International Concierge once onboard and advised to you each day via our weekly program.

We reserve late (second) seating for the entire group for dinner. Late (second) dining is generally served at 8:00 p.m. and varies by cruise line. If you desire to dine at early (first) seating, please let our reservation specialist know at the time of booking. Note that on most cruises, the majority of our guests choose late (second) seating and by selecting early (first) seating, you may be dining with a smaller group of our guests or perhaps none at all. All dining requests are confirmed once onboard, not in advance and are at the discretion of the cruise line.

In addition, there are generally several a la carte and themed restaurants with and without a fee. Singles Travel International reserves tables of 8 for every night. You may sign up for those options and, therefore, enjoy these restaurants in the company of other singles once onboard the ship.

Yes, there are hairdryers in each cabin. Electrical current is 110, which is the US standard. If sharing a cabin, we recommend bringing along a power strip so that you both may recharge phones, cameras and add additional items such as a curling iron.

The average daytime temperature for all the islands is 80-85 and evenings average 75-80 degrees. Expect high humidity.

A light jacket will be perfect for those evening dips in temperature.

A passport is required for travel to the Caribbean islands. Be sure to confirm that your passport is current and will be valid at least six months after your return date. If you do not have one or need a new one, contact the State Department Passport Office in your area immediately or visit their website.

We recommend that you also make copies of your passport, driver’s license, photo identification card and/or birth certificate in case of loss, and carry them with you on your trip separate from your passport.

No visas are necessary for US citizens.

Non US Citizens are responsible for verifying their own required documentation for this tour.

There is no baggage limit onboard ship.

Currently, most airlines will allow you to check one bag weighing up to 50 pounds, for a fee. In addition you may carry-on one bag plus a personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Please check with your air carrier for up-to-the-minute regulations and fees for checked baggage.

Freestyle Cruising is not too dressy, not too casual. We call it “resort casual”; you’ll call it being on holiday. When you’re ready for dinner, it’s collared shirts and pants or nice jeans for men. Slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops are perfect for women. If you want to dress up and add a little glamour when you dine out, go for it. Singles Travel International members generally add a little class to any venue!

Swimwear, T-shirts and shorts are not allowed in the restaurants after 5:30 pm. An exception will be made with respect to shorts in the buffet and outdoor restaurants. Presentable jeans may be worn in restaurants in the evenings with the exception of a designated “dress up” restaurant. Daytime wear is casual and comfortable for touring/ shopping/ swimming.

Evenings aboard the ship are sometimes cool due to the air conditioning, so a coverup is essential if you tend to get cold easily.

Packing Tips: Take only what you need; don’t over pack. Save room for souvenirs and purchases. Pack flat and full to avoid wrinkling. Bring wardrobe basics; mix and match around one or two colors. Don’t pack anything valuable, fragile or perishable. Label your luggage with an outside tag, and place an identification card inside each suitcase.

Essential Items: We highly recommend that you bring the following items.

– A happy-go-lucky attitude
– A good, comfortable pair of broken-in walking shoes.
– A pair of shoes for restaurants (loafers, sandals, etc).
– Slacks, shorts and tops and keep dressing in layers in mind
– Collapsible umbrella (which can double as a sunshade parasol) and/or lightweight raingear.
– Ladies will want to bring a nicer warm wrap, and gentlemen a nicer jacket, for evening wear.
– Sunglasses, sun block, sun hat or visor.
– Toiletries: all your daily essentials.
– Prescription medications: sufficient supply for the entire trip plus legible written prescription in case of loss. Keep medications in their original, labeled container. Always pack your medications in your carry-on bag!
– Eyeglasses, contacts, contact lens solution. You may want to bring along a written prescription for your eyewear in case of loss.
– Over the counter medications: cold remedy, aspirin/pain reliever, antacid/stomach upset remedy, Band-Aids, money or other anti-bacterial medication.
– Travel alarm clock with illuminated face, especially for guests in an inside cabin.
– Travel journal/notepad and reading material.
– Small, basic sewing kit with a few extra buttons. Remember to pack scissors in your checked bag!
– Photography Equipment
– Power strip to charge more than one item at a time. Only 1 US outlet in your cabin.
– Alternate outlet on the ship and in our hotel in Rome is European, so bring an adapter/converter.

Travel Insurance is not mandatory, but, based on our experience, we highly recommend it. In addition to direct access immediately upon completing your purchase, you will receive a quote from Travel Guard regarding travel insurance after reserving your vacation.

When selecting a travel insurance policy, we recommend that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency evacuation and repatriation. We also strongly recommend that the policy cover personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

If you have any questions, Travel Guard professional, expert agents are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call us, if you have not received your quote within 3 days, or CLICK HERE to go directly to Travel Guard and request a policy quote. It only takes a few minutes.

Questions and comments after you have reserved your vacation are addressed promptly when you send a message to us at service@singlestravelintl.com.

Although we visit several different island countries, the US Dollar is widely accepted everywhere.

Onboard the ship, your credit card will be accepted to settle your bill onboard the ship, as well as in major shops and restaurants ashore. All onboard purchases are billed with a guest check and added to your personal shipboard account. At the end of the cruise, you will receive a total bill, which can be paid with cash or charged to a credit card. If you are sharing with another guest, no worries. You will each receive a separate statement which may be reviewed at any time on your interactive TV in the cabin.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and most debit cards are also widely accepted throughout Nassau Paradise Island, as well as travelers’ checks. Some credit card companies may charge small international transaction fees, so it’s best to check with your provider before leaving home. Banks in the Bahamas are open Monday-Thursday from 9:30-3:00 and on Fridays 9:30-5:00.

All countries you will visit have laws against the purchase and export of certain items, including antiquities, national cultural property and certain animal products, especially endangered species (ivory, rhino horn, tortoise shell, coral, feathers, etc.). Additionally, the United States has laws prohibiting the import of certain items, which include many of the same things. You face having your purchase confiscated and/or heavy fines for exporting or importing prohibited items.

On return to the U.S., your baggage is subject to search by U.S. Customs. Currently, you are permitted to bring back $800 of goods duty free. Persons aged 21 or over may also bring in one liter of liquor and one carton of cigarettes. If you plan to purchase a lot of souvenirs or expensive items, it is important to retain all purchase receipts. However, please note that U.S. Customs may not accept a receipt as true cost if it seems unusually low for the estimated value of the item. I have always had the love for travel ever since I was a little girl! The idea of discovering new places and people always intrigued me! After college, I became a Tour Director and have worked in travel for about 20 years! I also had the privilege of living in London for a year. It's an honor to help people's dreams come true at Singles Travel International! When I'm not on the road, I live in Albuquerque with my wonderful family and my Shi-Tzu, Shortcake!

What Our Members Are Saying

I just came back from a fantastic Mediterranean vacation aboard the Norwegian Epic. STI was fantastic from the office staff to our cruise hostesses June and Georgia. I look forward to traveling with STI again in the future!

The Epic Med cruise was fantastic. It was my first trip to Europe and was a nice taste of Spain, Italy and France. The day I saw there was a cruise without a single supplement was when I signed up. Nice group and made lots of new friends. Thanks STI!
