Return to Solo Travel: Travel Companies Tell Us What’s Next

I know I'm not alone in impatiently waiting to return to solo travel. I hear it day in and day out from members of the Solo Travel Society on Facebook, in emails from readers, in conversations with friends and family. Over the course of the past year or so, many of us have been quite focused on the loss of our ability to travel.

Travel Companies Work on the Return to Solo Travel

It's not just travelers who have lost out. The entire travel industry has been hit extremely hard and many companies have suffered huge losses. Rebuilding will be a lengthy process.

We've worked hard to maintain and strengthen our relationships with companies who treat solo travelers well so that when we are all ready to return to solo travel, we will continue to be able to bring you great deals through our Deals page on Solo Traveler and our monthly email of trips with no or very low single supplements.

I'm also not alone in feeling a sense of optimism and anticipation. I thought this might be a good time to hear directly from travel companies how they are preparing to welcome back solo travelers, what they are doing to ensure our safety on their tours, and what new trips they are most excited to be offering when travel resumes.

Over the next few months, I will be interviewing executives from some of the travel companies that are most popular with the Solo Traveler community. This month, I'm featuring Explore Worldwide, Girls' Guide to Paris & Beyond, and Adventures in Good Company. Continue scrolling down to see last month's interviews with Riviera River Cruises, Active Adventures, and Overseas Adventure Travel.

waterfall, return to solo travel, explore worldwide

Explore Worldwide

Interviewee: Samantha White, Regional Director

Explore Worldwide has been operating for 40 years, with over 500 trips in 120 countries. From hold-your-breath experiences to unscripted moments of joy, our unforgettable small group adventures create stories of a lifetime. You’ll see a mix of famous sights and hidden gems that others don't even know about.

We want you to experience a country, not merely observe it. We'll take you closer to the culture and people, often in spontaneous, impossible-to-replicate ways.

Explore offers discovery tours, family trips, and walking and cycling adventures.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the travel industry extremely hard. Tell us how you're rebuilding and preparing to welcome back solo travelers who are eager to continue exploring the world.

The world, and with it travel, has changed hugely in the last 12 months. Now more than ever travelers are seeking reassurance that their booking is protected if travel advice changes. We recognize that our Explore’s 10 day no-fee flexibility and COVID refund promise continue to be of huge reassurance to our customers, and we’ll be continuing those policies throughout 2021. It’s important that our customers know we are there for them and they can trust us.

Explore’s expert team have been working hard with international and local bodies and organizations to ensure we are up to date with the latest advice for all countries and destinations that we visit. If the FCDO recommends against travel to a destination, we will not operate a trip there – and customers will have the chance to change their booking or request a refund. Similarly, if the State Department or the Canadian government advice changes to avoid all travel to that country, customers will have the option to change their booking or request a refund.

In 2021 we believe many travelers may want to stay closer to home when they return to solo travel, so we have launched a number of new domestic trips for both the North American and UK markets, which, once borders open up will be available to everyone.

Travel is going to look different when it resumes. As we prepare to return to solo travel, what policies and protocols has your company put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers on your trips?

Our protocols are guided by the WTTC (World Travel & Tourism Council), the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization), and the European Commission and local government regulations and include personal protection, extensive disinfecting, and social distancing measures. So, when you travel with us you can be confident that we are doing everything possible to keep you safe.

Given the ever-changing nature of local rules and protocols relating to COVID-19, our itineraries are under regular review and will be tweaked according to local requirements to ensure a safe experience. Should any major change be required, we will inform customers prior to departure.

Our Explore leaders will make judgement calls during the trip to modify the itinerary if appropriate social distancing can’t be achieved (for example to avoid a large crowds).

Our Explore leaders are being trained on COVID-19 protocols and leading our trips in the ‘new normal’. They will brief customers on arrival on the usage of face masks and social distancing during the trip, based on local government guidelines.

Only restaurants with strict protocols that comply with local requirements for food hygiene and social distancing will be used. We will encourage outdoor eating spaces where possible.

All our staff and third-party suppliers will continually be updated on any new health and safety protocols.

For transport on a trip, our drivers will follow local protocols on the usage of face masks and required social distancing. Our drivers will make alcohol-based hand sanitizer and paper tissues available in the vehicle and encourage customers to clean hands when they get into the vehicle. All relevant touch points (seats, door handles, etc.) in vehicles will be disinfected regularly throughout the day.

Explore will only offer hotels that have specific COVID-19 protocols in place and comply with local government guidelines. We will ensure these measures include enhanced room cleaning, ventilation, social distancing, regular cleaning and disinfection of high frequency touch points in public areas, food safety, staff training, and minimizing contact within the properties.

All Explore leaders are trained to support any customer who becomes ill during a trip. Explore has a country-specific response plan in place to enable us to coordinate the most appropriate medical support and local assistance in the event of a suspected COVID-19 case within the group. Explore leaders are supported by our 24/7 UK-based operational team and local in-country partners.

Among the tours/cruises that you have coming up in 2021/22, what are you most excited to be offering for solo travelers?

Over 60% of our customers are solo travelers so you will likely have other solo travelers in your group on whatever tour you choose. Our tours are ideal for solo travelers who want to really explore, and who want some good company along the way. All of our group tours are suitable for solo travelers, no matter your age.

We anticipate that there will be a tendency for some travelers to want to veer away from bustling cities and densely populated areas in favor of more space and natural environments. Our active trips, walking and cycling trips, are proving very popular for 2021 – not least because many people have become so much more active during the pandemic. We are excited to have launched a number of new active trips including Malta and Gozo Walking and Active Greece.

Finally, can you give us one insider tip for solo travelers who may be considering booking a trip with you?

The best way to find out more is to join our newsletter for up-to-date information on specials, new tours, and destinations that are opening up.

We have dates on sale throughout 2022 and with our COVID refund promise and 10 day no fee flexibility it’s easy to book knowing you have the flexibility to change at a later date.

woman in field of flowers, girls guide to paris

Girls’ Guide to Paris & Beyond

Interviewee: Doni Belau, Founder and President

Girls’ Guide to Paris & Beyond is an invitation to travel luxuriously with a small group of like-minded women. At Girl’s Guide we love adventure, knowledge and discovery. We value kindness, down-time, and little luxuries. We delight in new-found friends, experiences and insight. We celebrate diversity in age, background, and thought. We are globally minded. We appreciate good wine, wonderful food, and turn-down service. Discovery excites us. Meeting new people intrigues us. We meet as strangers and leave as friends.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the travel industry extremely hard. Tell us how you're rebuilding and preparing to welcome back solo travelers who are eager to continue exploring the world.

It was one year ago, when on a trip with a group in Bali, that our State Department in the United States and the Government of Canada called us all home. Luckily, we were at the end of our trip. While things were truly scary for us in the travel business during those first few months of lockdown, at Girls’ Guide we decided to double down and build our business up instead of waiting and worrying. We bet that once tourism reopened, women would want to travel more than ever. We are seeing that bet pay off right now with folks booking right and left as vaccines, especially in the US, are on the rise. During our extended down time we redesigned our website and created a huge number of new trips and we formed many new partnerships with other female-owned businesses.

I’m proud to say we have more women-only trips on offer than almost any other company on the planet (save 1 or 2 firms who have been around a lot longer). As countries open up and it is safe to travel again we’ll be heading to Greece, Mongolia, Nantucket, Morocco, California, France, Mexico, Kenya, Italy, and so many more. In total, we are currently traveling to 24 countries in 2021-22, with nearly 60 trips on offer. We have another 10 trips in the works. I’m actually grateful that we’ve had this time to expand as we are already seeing the dividends.

Travel is going to look different when it resumes. As we prepare to return to solo travel, what policies and protocols has your company put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers on your trips?

We are following all the recommended procedures and protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization as well as the recommendations of the individual countries that we are traveling to. Plus, we’ve instituted a risk-free, worry-free booking policy which simply means that if we have to postpone the trip you’ve booked with us due to COVID or any other reason, and you cannot go on the new dates, you can either get your money back or use your deposit towards another trip that conforms better to your schedule. Luckily, most people pick another trip or join us on the new dates.

As countries open we pay strict attention to their guidelines. Most countries are requiring that tourists have been vaccinated (for example, Mongolia) and others are okay with a negative COVID test taken close to your travel date (like Greece). If, upon return to your home country a negative covid test is needed, we help arrange that whether we are in Greece, Morocco, or anywhere else. We also make sure that every trip leader and van driver has been vaccinated and, of course, we wear masks in all venues where and when required. We are excited to imagine a moment, hopefully coming soon on our Greece trip this June, while traveling with other vaccinated ladies, to be able to sit outside at a café in our small group without masks. The thought is positively thrilling! So many of us have been stuck alone or just stuck at home for so long that we’ve come to appreciate and look forward to what we would have thought before were the simplest, most basic things. I do believe that this is the beautiful and profound lesson that I hope we’ll never forget from this extremely difficult year: gratitude, pure and simple.

Among the tours/cruises that you have coming up in 2021/22, what are you most excited to be offering for solo travelers?

Picking a tour or two to focus on is like picking one of my children as a favorite. I love them all so much as I’ve worked hard on each itinerary, pouring my passion and research into each trip, often working with talented and inspiring partners.

I’m excited about going to Croatia & Slovenia this summer with a local lady who hails from the Istria peninsula. We’ll be truffle hunting, strolling along beautiful beaches, and visiting charming and colorful fishing villages. We’ll also be seeing ancient Roman ruins and exploring Lake Bled as well as the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, which dates back to the 12th century. I cannot wait for our adventurous excursion to Mongolia this August where we’ll be traveling from ger to ger (the Mongolian word for yurt) like the nomadic people of this vast country. In 2022 we are heading back to the Netherlands for Tulip season in early May, which will be very special indeed.

Finally, can you give us one insider tip for solo travelers who may be considering booking a trip with you?

Even though there are a lot of key countries which haven’t opened up yet, you’d be very surprised at how booked up the hotels are in France and throughout Europe from 2021 into 2022. That’s because so much previously booked travel has had to be postponed until summer and fall of 2021 and even into 2022, making dates and spaces hard to come by. For that reason we suggest that you book your travel (even trips for 2022) as soon as possible, using a risk-free booking system like ours. To celebrate Mother’s Day on May 9th in the US and Canada, we are extending a special gift for all mothers and daughters in appreciation of the most important job in the world. Mention this code: #SoloTravelerMother and we’ll give you an extra $250 USD in spending money as a discount off any trip you book.

women hiking in forest, adventures in good company

Adventures in Good Company

Interviewee: Stephanie Vidergar, Marketing and Communications Manager

At Adventures in Good Company, our small group getaways encourage women of all ages and life stages to (re)connect with their adventurous selves, other women and cultures, and the natural world. From hiking to sea kayaking, backpacking to multisport adventures, we welcome women who love being active, whether they’re first-time travelers or lifelong outdoorswomen. Together, we explore, share new experiences, have fun, eat delicious food, and depart feeling fulfilled with new friendships and a hunger for our next adventure.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the travel industry extremely hard. Tell us how you're rebuilding and preparing to welcome back solo travelers who are eager to continue exploring the world.

When COVID first became a part of all our lives, we were not sure what the future of adventure looked like for AGC. In March of 2020, we began the hard work of cancelling and rescheduling all our international trips for the year and the majority of our domestic trips. At the same time, we carefully drafted COVID policies to help us plan how to safely get back out together when the time was right. We also updated our payment and cancellation policies to allow participants more flexibility.

Our focus has always been on putting people first. One of our core values is that “We Take Good Care,” which means that we use good judgement in all situations and do what is best for our travelers, colleagues, and partners and we make decisions always with this in mind.

In the women’s travel niche, we are a pioneer and leader, especially for domestic travel opportunities. We were fortunate to have many options for women to travel closer to home, so that in the fall of 2020 we were able to offer and successfully run over 15 trips across the United States. We made very intentional decisions about which trips were appropriate and how we could adjust itineraries, lodging, and food options to maximize the safety of the group. We put a lot of effort into encouraging our participants to consider what getaways they could drive to, rather than having to fly to a destination.

For 2021, we have again kept our focus on our domestic adventures and have postponed or rescheduled the majority of our international trips through the summer. We added additional domestic departures and a few new destinations, to be prepared for the demand from travelers we are expecting when it feels safe to travel more freely again.

Travel is going to look different when it resumes. As we prepare to return to solo travel, what policies and protocols has your company put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers on your trips?

Our trips have always been for small groups of women with ample time outdoors, which naturally allows us to minimize risk and continue to make adventure accessible. We continually assess and manage for risks – as we always do. We consistently review the COVID-19 guidelines from the CDC and state and local health departments and created the following policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our participants.

We have implemented pre-trip, on trip, and post-trip procedures that include updated packing lists to include face covering, hand sanitizer, and a thermometer. As per the CDC recommendation, we suggest all travelers and guides get vaccinated. At the start of a trip and each morning of the trip, AGC guides will take each participant's temperature. A reading of greater than 100.4 degrees will require further evaluation at the nearest health clinic and a negative COVID-19 test to continue. All staff and participants will be required to wear face masks in vehicles and have them at-the-ready to use when indoors and passing others on the trail, etc. When possible, dining will be al fresco, and at lodges and restaurants we will request small tables that are socially distanced.

If guides or participants experience any flu-like symptoms during a trip they will be physically distanced from the rest of the group and a determination will be made to seek definitive care. Additionally, our offices are staffed for emergencies and we'll be there to provide support to participants and guides as needed. Our guides are already trained in Wilderness First Aid and CPR and will have a protocol to follow in case of any health issues. They'll be proactive communicators and prepared to manage logistics around any adjustments needed during a trip. You can find our full policies here.

Among the tours/cruises that you have coming up in 2021/22, what are you most excited to be offering for solo travelers?

Every AGC small group adventure has been carefully designed to make sure it is an unforgettable and exceptional travel experience. Our trips are an ideal way for a solo traveler to take on new adventures, new destinations, and new activities, in a safe, well-planned, and comfortable setting guided by professionals and supported by the enthusiasm of a crew of amazing women you get to journey with. A sampling of adventure opportunities with spots still available in 2021:

  • Enjoy the wide-open wild west in Wyoming on Alpine Backpacking in the Snowy Range
  • Try out a multisport vacation such as the NEW South Dakota Hills and Thrills
  • Sample horseback riding, hiking, whitewater rafting and the burgeoning foodie culture of Northern Georgia on Appalachian Autumn Adventures
  • Explore the breathtaking desert landscape via hiking, horseback riding and a plush guest ranch stay on the Arizona Sonoran Desert Sampler
  • Be wowed by towering hoodoos and slithering slot canyons enjoying as much hiking as you can fit in on Hiking Bryce and Zion National Parks

Things are changing on the international adventure front and and we’re brimming with anticipation for bigger adventure opportunities abroad again in 2022. Guatemala: Volcanoes, Lakes and Culture features stunning topography with amazing cultural immersion. Best of Belize: Snorkeling, Kayaking & Culture offers kayaking a reef, snorkeling to your hearts' content, and falling asleep lulled by the sound of ocean waves. Portugal Coastal Hiking offers wild beaches, towering cliffs and indulging in the colorful culture and divine maritime-inspired cuisine.

Finally, can you give us one insider tip for solo travelers who may be considering booking a trip with you?

riviera river cruises, bridge, return to solo travel

Riviera River Cruises

Interviewee: Marilyn Conroy, Executive Vice President

Riviera River Cruises parent company is a 37-year-old British based company. Four years ago they entered the North American marketplace and have already been the recipient of many prestigious awards and accolades.  We are the top of the premium line but less than premium prices – our unique selling proposition is price value – we offer superior spacious accommodations, food, and service with really innovative itineraries on the youngest fleet of ships in Europe. Riviera is the only company that offers at least five cabins on each departure with no single supplement as well as entire departures dedicated to the solo traveler where there is no single supplement across all grades.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the travel industry extremely hard. Tell us how you're rebuilding and preparing to welcome back solo travelers who are eager to continue exploring the world.

In addition to adhering to all the guidelines in each country and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) we have taken additional steps to ensure the health and safety of our guests on board by hiring Ian Greaves who is a member of the Chartered Institute for Health. We do not propose right now to require a vaccine for guests to travel but a negative test before they board the ship. Social distancing will be adhered to during embarkation. Of course, all of these protocols are subject to change at the time of sailing.

Travel is going to look different when it resumes. As we prepare to return to solo travel, what policies and protocols has your company put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers on your trips?

We will no longer be offering buffet meals for breakfast and luncheon. All meals will be served to our guests.  Each cabin is disinfected twice daily and of course before embarkation. Hand sanitizers will be placed in cabins and around the ship. The use of mouth masks is mandatory when walking around as well as adhering to and 6 foot social distancing. Tours will be smaller in group size and of course any coaches used will be thoroughly disinfected before guests embark.

Among the tours/cruises that you have coming up in 2021/22, what are you most excited to be offering for solo travelers?

We are the only cruise company to offer solo departures, we will have at least 12 departures in 2022 as well as some this fall which are dedicated exclusively to the solo traveler.

Finally, can you give us one insider tip for solo travelers who may be considering booking a trip with you?

We currently have an offer that for any new bookings this April, solo travelers will receive one hundred euros onboard credit. We offer prices on our website that have already had a ‘spring forward’ discount taken off them, that is why we are able to offer such fantastic rates to our solo clients – no single supplement instead of the usual 100% add on.

active adventures, return to solo travel

Active Adventures

Interviewee: Wendy van Lieshout, CEO

Active Adventures is New Zealand’s most globally diverse adventure travel company. We applied our pioneering spirit back in the 90s and began offering incredible, fully guided, outdoor adventures in New Zealand to just a small number of guests. Fast forward 25 years and we now offer our unique style of Kiwi adventuring across the globe to thousands of guests every year, through all the best outdoor destinations.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the travel industry extremely hard. Tell us how you're rebuilding and preparing to welcome back solo travelers who are eager to continue exploring the world.

We are already operating trips in the Galapagos, and we’re preparing to open more and more destinations as borders begin to relax.  It’s so exciting seeing the photos of our happy guests back on the road again! To make that happen, we’ve been working extremely hard with our local support crews in each destination to understand their entry and exit protocols as well as how to comply with local regulations. It’s a moving target but we’ve become extremely agile through COVID and also very resilient! Sometimes we’re changing things behind the scenes almost daily, but the Active team takes care of it all, so our solo traveler guests can just relax and enjoy looking forward to their adventure, knowing that we’ve taken care of all the details.

Travel is going to look different when it resumes. As we prepare to return to solo travel, what policies and protocols has your company put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers on your trips?

There are different requirements in every destination which we stay abreast of and fully adhere to. Plus, we ensure that we adopt the highest levels of hygiene and deep cleaning, as well as supplying hand sanitizer and masks. If required, we are also well versed in social distancing requirements, and of course we’re very hot on contact tracing – we’re always on top of exactly where we’ve been and where we’re going. Any suppliers we use are also strictly vetted to ensure they align to our internal high standards. In New Zealand we’re also proud to display the ‘Safe Travels’ stamp, a globally recognized World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) initiative which verifies that we are following the New Zealand Government COVID-19 regulations.

Among the tours/cruises that you have coming up in 2021/22, what are you most excited to be offering for solo travelers?

We have so many great trips to choose from, and they’re all amazing!  But the ‘jewel in our crown’ will always be our Ultimate South Island Adventure ‘Rimu’, our classic 8-14 day adventure in the South Island of New Zealand. Particularly great for solo travelers, this intimate multi-activity adventure includes kayaking in Milford Sound, hiking in Mt. Cook National Park, walking some of the best sections of our famous Great Walks, cycling a section of the Alps to Ocean Trail, heli-hiking on Franz Josef Glacier, and so much more! We stay in locally owned accommodation, and our guides are outstanding chefs, so it’s really easy for us to cater to everyone’s needs, no matter how remote we are. We have a lot of bookings and some waitlists in place already, so get in quick if you want to get this bucket-list trip checked off!

Another destination that is getting a lot of interest because of how well the COVID situation has been handled is Iceland: our Iceland Hiking Adventure ‘Stelkur’, however brand new, is almost full for 2021 already. This 11-day trip is the perfect balance between the must-sees around the Golden Circle and the lesser known villages and hiking trails of the Eastern Fjords.

Finally, can you give us one insider tip for solo travelers who may be considering booking a trip with you?

The best way to help with your planning is to sign up for our email newsletters, or follow us on Facebook. We promise we’ll inspire you and you’ll catch some great specials, and let you know which destinations we start to explore again, and when. And last but definitely not least, don’t be afraid to secure a spot now (even if you’re not certain you’ll be able to travel on that trip), as it’s the best way to get ‘in the line’ and make sure you’ll get first choice on dates. We’ve launched our Active Adventure Assurance, so if your plans change, or if you decide to travel to another destination, you can change your trip to any of our departures in any destination or request a refund (less deposit) up to 30 days out from your original trip start date. Your deposit is good for life, so you'll never lose it.

return to solo travel, overseas adventure travel, woman in desert

Overseas Adventure Travel (O.A.T.)

Interviewee: Harriet R. Lewis, Vice Chairman

Overseas Adventure Travel (O.A.T.) is the leader in solo-friendly travel for women 50 and over. Established in 1978, Overseas Adventure Travel (O.A.T.) is part of Boston-based Grand Circle Corporation's family of travel companies, which also include Grand Circle Cruise Line and Grand Circle Travel. In 1992, owners Alan and Harriet Lewis established the nonprofit Grand Circle Foundation to support communities in which Grand Circle works and travels, including some 300 humanitarian, cultural, and educational endeavors worldwide. The Foundation is an entity of the Lewis Family Foundation, which has pledged or donated more than $200 million since 1981.

The COVID-19 pandemic hit the travel industry extremely hard. Tell us how you're rebuilding and preparing to welcome back solo travelers who are eager to continue exploring the world.

Based on feedback from our solo travelers, we’ve added more free single spaces to all of our adventures to give travelers more opportunity to travel independently. In 2022, we will have 30,000 single spaces available—an increase of 96% from 2019—with free or low-cost single supplements. This includes an additional 1,000 spaces aboard our small ships for 2022. We have also added new extensions on most of our trips to give travelers more options.

Travel is going to look different when it resumes. As we prepare to return to solo travel, what policies and protocols has your company put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers on your trips?

The health and safety of our travelers is our #1 priority. We’ve been working closely with our regional associates to implement a number of new protocols—and we believe that full vaccination is an integral part of ensuring the safety of all of our travelers. As we prepare to announce when we will begin traveling again, the latest government guidance suggests that travelers will be able to receive full vaccination before our first adventures depart.

For that reason, we are requiring that all travelers joining us aboard our small ships must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days prior to departure of their adventure—and provide proof of their vaccination upon boarding the ship—by one of the three vaccines currently being distributed throughout the U.S. from Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson. Our local Trip Experience Leaders, ship crew and staff, and drivers will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as well. As we continue to work closely with our regional offices and associates, we will update travelers by May 1 with any changes.

To help travelers be confident in making travel plans, we’ve extended our Risk-Free Booking Policy through to December 31, 2021. When travelers make a new 2021, 2022, or 2023 reservation, we guarantee them the flexibility to change their plans—no matter what the reason. Travelers can transfer to another departure date up until 24 hours prior to their original departure, and we will waive any change fees.

Among the tours/cruises that you have coming up in 2021/22, what are you most excited to be offering for solo travelers?

O.A.T currently has 70,000 travelers who have reserved travel for 2021 and 2022 – 38,000 of them women who will be traveling solo. We are excited to offer these adventures, currently the Top 5 chosen by solo travelers:

  • Morocco Sahara Odyssey
  • Sicily's Ancient Landscapes & Timeless Traditions
  • Crossroads of the Adriatic: Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Slovenia
  • Egypt & the Eternal Nile by Private, Classic River-Yacht
  • Ultimate Africa: Botswana, Zambia & Zimbabwe Safari
Finally, can you give us one insider tip for solo travelers who may be considering booking a trip with you?

We encourage solo travelers to look at our Arrive Early, Stay Later options. If you arrive early or stay later in the first or last destination of your adventure, we will help with your hotels, air arrangements, and transfers to and from the airport. Also, solo travelers can request a complimentary copy of our NEW 101+ Tips for Solo Travelers. There’s a wealth of advice primarily from O.A.T.’s most experienced solo women travelers about solo travel safety; money matters; etiquette, dining, and culture; and much more.

You can look forward to more interviews with travel executives about our return to solo travel next month.
