Terms and Conditions
The Solo Travel Awards are managed by Solo Traveler. Your participation in the Solo Travel Awards is subject to the following terms and conditions:
The 2018 Solo Travel Awards is open to tour, cruise, and travel companies anywhere in the world. Companies that choose to sponsor the Awards are not eligible for nomination. Because the information that is required to determine whether a company serves solo travelers well is proprietary, companies nominate themselves.
Information Provided by You
Information submitted by you for the purpose of being considered for a Solo Travel Award will be used for judging purposes only with the following exceptions:
- Information and data aggregated from all submissions may be shared through media releases and other means without mention of individual company names.
- Should your company win a Solo Travel Award, your company name may be mentioned along with some specifics from your entry indicating why your company was chosen to receive the award.
Agreement to Rules
Participation in the Solo Travel Awards constitutes the Nominee’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Solo Traveler and the judges which are final and binding.
Click any of the ENTER buttons on the Solo Travel Awards site to enter the nomination and judging site. Create an account and submit your information in the desired category(s). A company may nominate themselves in multiple categories with the exception of tour categories, where either Tours or Specialty Tours must be chosen. The deadline for all entries is midnight EDT, May 15, 2018. The early bird entry fee is US$95/category and applicable until April 15th. The standard entry fee is US$125/category. Payment can be made by Paypal or credit card using the Paypal platform.
World Nomads Solo Travelers Choice Awards
Companies that nominate themselves in any of the six Solo Travel Awards categories will be entered into the World Nomads Solo Travelers Choice Award. However, should a company’s services be determined as unsuitable for solo travelers, they may be excluded from the World Nomads Solo Travelers Choice Award at the discretion of the organizers.
All nominations will be reviewed according to the criteria of the category for which they were submitted. Based on the quantitative information gathered, a shortlist of five ranked nominees will be delivered to our judges. Each judge may then reorder the list based on his/her unique understanding of the solo marketplace. These ordinal lists will then be averaged to determine the winners in each category. The decisions of the judges are final.
Award Winners May…
