Reasons to go: Lake Powell is the second-largest man-made lake in the United States, with almost 2,000 miles of shoreline – more than the entire west coast of the country!
Rainbow Bridge, one of the world’s largest natural bridges, has been named a National Monument. I recommend taking the afternoon 6-hour boat tour that travels up Lake Powell to this amazing sandstone structure. You will you spend just over an hour exploring the canyon that the bridge sits in, and then travel back down Lake Powell to the marina.
The RV park at Lake Powell Resort has great services and overlooks this beautiful lake.
