Reasons to Visit Mallorca
I have been trying to visit the largest Balearic Island for a couple of years now and finally made it to Mallorca in May. The island of Palma de Mallorca is a picturesque place to soak your feet in turquoise water and let your hair down.
The center of the city is the historic old town within the city fortification. The main attraction of the city is the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, the Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral commonly referred to as Le Seu, not far from the coast.
Enjoying the crystal-clear waters is one of the favorite activities for visitors. Whether sunbathing on the beach, taking a refreshing dip in the sea, or witnessing the exotic wildlife is your interest, Mallorca has a lot to offer. You could spend weeks in this city alone, and still uncover fresh joys every day.
Quick Tips:
- You can fly in to Mallorca from major European cities such as Frankfurt, Geneva, or via a connecting flight from Barcelona.
- Renting a car to visit the beaches is the convenient and affordable way to get around.
